In The Arms Of An Angel Chapter 1

“Honey, you’re going to love the house! I just know it!” Caitlyn said as she drove safely through the rain,

“I doubt it….” I said not looking at my adoptive mother. She scowled towards me.

“Cheer up Iliana!” She said brightly.

“Considering Forks, Washington is one of the wettest places in the continental U.S. that’s not happening…”

“Oh… you loved it when you were little!” She said.

I had grown up out here… I was about six when I left. But that was 10 years ago..

“Caitlyn! That was 10 years ago! That….That was… when mom was still alive…” I said and turned my MP3 player up as a rather soft song came. Jason Walker’s down

Don’t know where I’m at I’m standing at the back. And I’m tired of waiting.

Waiting here in line, hoping that I’ll find, what I’ve been chasing

I shot for the sky, I’m stuck on the ground,

So why do I try I know I’m gonna fall down

I thought I could fly so why did I drown

Never know why it’s coming down, down, down

Before the song could finish Caitlyn said “LOOK! Forks! The sign that says welcome to Forks!” she exclaimed.

“….Yay…” I said dully.

“Oh. Wow… its still raining?” Angela said waking up.

“It’s been raining probably for a week out here..” I said.

Caitlyn pulled onto the main road. For the next hour, Paramore songs blasted through the headphones, Riot, Ignorance, Brick By Boring Brick, Misery Business, CrushCrushCrush, and a few more. Soon we pulled into a driveway.

“Here it is!” Caitlyn said and the rain had stopped 30 minutes ago so it was still very wet.

“Finally!” I said getting out of the car.

“Ok, girls, there is a beach a mile or two down the road. It is on the Quileute land.” N/A I couldn’t spell what Jake calls it! Sorry!

My other Sister Destiny was getting out of the car. “Quileute? Like native Americans?” She asked.

Caitlyn laughed and picked her up

“Don’t worry honey… they are much like us they just look slightly different!” Caitlyn told her

Destiny was only five. She had a BIG imagination..

“Well.. I’m going to go for a walk.” I said.

“Be back by dinner!” Caitlyn said and I waved it off and walked away.

DRAMATIC SCENE CHANGE LMAO

Jacobs Point Of View.

I walked around on the beach listening to little sounds. The birds, squirrels, the ocean. The annoying music coming from someone’s MP3 player.

Jeez.. Why now??

I looked around and saw a short girl with brownish blond hair sitting on a rock with an MP3 player she didn’t seem real… Attentive, or like any of the other girls around here but something about her made me want to get to know her so I walked up to her,

“Hello?” I said and she stopped the MP3 player and looked at me.

“Uh.. Hi?” She said.

“You new here?” I asked.

“Kind of.. I lived here 10 years ago. That’s all…” She said not looking at me anymore.

“Oh.” I said.

She looked down at her watch.

“Crap. I’ve gotta go. Bye.” she said and walked away

Are you new here? real  smooth Jake

Shut up Seth!  I thought. And walked away.
